Sensitive or private information, including contact verification records, payout information, private messages, and account security information, is not intended for public display except where disclosure is necessary for platform operation, safety, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

When creating or editing an account, we collect:

• Full name and username;
• Email address and mobile phone number;
• Profile photo / Avatar;
• District, location, and country;
• Professional bio, technical skills, language proficiencies, hourly rates, and portfolio work (for Freelancers);
• Business / company name, industry, and project specifications (for Employers).

To ensure marketplace safety, protect financial transactions, and prevent fraudulent accounts, KajKhuji verifies user authenticity through digital contact verification methods.

Verification data includes:

• Email address verification via one-time passcodes (OTP);
• Bangladeshi mobile phone number verification via SMS OTP;
• Account authentication credentials, multi-factor security logs, and associated timestamps.

Account verification on KajKhuji is conducted exclusively through digital email and mobile phone OTP authentication.

6.1 Transaction Records

To maintain billing records and track project milestones, we store non-sensitive transactional data:

• Invoice numbers;
• Order transaction IDs;
• Payment dates and amounts;
• Order and milestone statuses.

6.2 Payout Information

To process withdrawal requests, we handle payout account details submitted by the User:

6.3 Payment Gateways & Processors

12.1 Public Profiles & Contract Collaborators

• Public Profile: Display name, avatar, skills, bio, portfolio, star ratings, and public reviews may be visible publicly or to other KajKhuji users depending on the profile settings and features available on the Platform.
• Order Parties: Freelancers and Employers in an active contract can see necessary project details.

12.2 Trusted Service Providers

We share necessary data with authorized service providers:

• Payment Processors & MFS: To process payments and execute withdrawals.
• Hosting & Cloud Providers: Secure infrastructure and database hosting.
• SMS & Email Delivery Services: For transactional alerts and OTP delivery.

12.3 Legal & Safety Compliance

We may disclose information if required by applicable law, court order, or official governmental request from lawful authorities in Bangladesh, or to protect the safety, property, and rights of KajKhuji and its community.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Platform, maintain transaction and dispute records, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and resolve potential claims.

Upon account closure, non-essential information will be deleted where reasonably possible, while essential financial, invoice, and dispute records will be retained for as long as required by operational, tax, and legal requirements.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

• Access to sensitive verification records is restricted to authorized personnel.
