Introduction
Welcome to KajKhuji (accessible at https://kajkhuji.bd/). KajKhuji is a Bangladesh-focused digital freelancing marketplace designed to connect skilled independent professionals ("Freelancers") with businesses, startups, agencies, and individuals ("Employers" or "Clients") across Bangladesh.
By registering for an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"), together with our Privacy Policy and any other official marketplace rules published on KajKhuji.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue using KajKhuji.
Definitions
To ensure clarity, the following terms have specific meanings throughout this document:
Account Registration & Security
3.1 Accurate Information
To use core features of KajKhuji, you must register for an account. You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information during registration and maintain its accuracy at all times.
3.2 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use KajKhuji and enter into agreements through the Platform. If you register on behalf of a business, company, or organization, you confirm you have the legal authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
3.3 Account Security & Credentials
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details (username, password, and security OTPs). You are responsible for all actions conducted under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify KajKhuji support immediately.
3.4 One-Account, Dual-Role Policy
KajKhuji allows users to hire talent (Employer mode) and sell services (Freelancer mode) using a single verified account. Creating duplicate, misleading, or deceptive accounts is strictly prohibited and may result in the suspension of all associated accounts.
3.5 Account Suspension & Termination
KajKhuji reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our policies, engage in fraudulent behavior, fail security verification, or harm marketplace integrity.
Freelancer Terms & Responsibilities
When offering services on KajKhuji, Freelancers agree to uphold the following standards:
- Delivering Agreed Work: Complete and deliver work that meets the specifications agreed upon in the Project brief or Gig tier.
- Honoring Deadlines: Respect agreed delivery timelines and communicate proactively with the Client if unavoidable delays arise.
- Authentic Representation: Accurately represent skills, experience, and portfolio samples. Misrepresenting qualifications, identity, or credentials is strictly prohibited.
- Original Work & No Plagiarism: All delivered work must be original or properly licensed. Plagiarized graphics, unauthorized copyrighted code, or misleading templates presented as custom work are forbidden.
- Professional Communication: Maintain respectful, clear, and professional communication through on-platform messaging.
Employer / Client Terms & Responsibilities
When hiring or purchasing services on KajKhuji, Employers agree to uphold the following standards:
- Clear Requirements: Provide clear, complete, and realistic specifications, materials, and expectations before hiring.
- Timely Review: Review submitted deliverables, milestone submissions, and revision requests in a timely manner.
- Professional Respect: Treat Freelancers with professional courtesy. Demands for work outside the agreed scope are not permitted.
- Legitimate Postings: Do not post misleading, test-only, fraudulent, speculative, or multi-level marketing (MLM) job listings.
- No Unlawful Requests: Do not request any work that violates Bangladeshi laws, promotes malware, invades privacy, or breaches third-party intellectual property.
Projects & Proposals
6.1 Posting & Bidding
Employers may post Project briefs describing work requirements and budget. Freelancers may submit Proposals detailing their approach, timeframe, and quote.
6.2 Hiring & Payment Holding
When an Employer accepts a Proposal, the required milestone or project funds must be processed into KajKhuji’s transaction workflow before the Freelancer begins work.
6.3 Completion & Acceptance
Upon completion, the Freelancer submits deliverables for review. The Employer may approve the work or request reasonable revisions aligned with the original project scope. Once approved, funds are released to the Freelancer’s earnings.
6.4 Automatic Completion
If the Client does not respond or request revisions within the review period specified by KajKhuji following delivery, the order may be automatically marked as completed, and funds released to the Freelancer.
Gigs & Gig Orders
Freelancers may publish Gigs outlining exact deliverables, turnaround times, and pricing tiers in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT). Employers purchasing Gigs must provide all required materials and briefs to initiate the order.
Freelancers must provide the number of revisions specified in their Gig tier. Deliberate non-delivery or unexcused abandonment entitles the Employer to request cancellation through platform dispute assistance.
Payments & Financial Workflow
8.1 Payment Protection Workflow
To protect both parties, Employers pay for Gig Orders or Project Milestones upfront. Funds are held within KajKhuji’s payment/transaction workflow and are not released to the Freelancer until the applicable release conditions are met.
8.2 Payment Methods
KajKhuji supports the payment methods currently enabled on the Platform. Available payment methods may change from time to time.
8.3 Release Conditions
Funds held within the workflow are released to the Freelancer when:
- The Employer explicitly approves the deliverable; or
- The review period specified by KajKhuji expires following delivery without an active revision or dispute request; or
- A dispute is formally resolved in favor of the Freelancer through KajKhuji platform review.
8.4 Refunds
If an order is cancelled prior to commencement, cancelled by mutual consent, or resolved in favor of the Employer during dispute review, eligible funds will be refunded or credited back to the Employer’s KajKhuji balance or original payment channel in accordance with platform and gateway processing terms.
8.5 Taxes & Statutory Compliance
Users are solely responsible for determining, reporting, and paying any personal, corporate, or local income taxes, VAT, or statutory charges applicable to their earnings or transactions under Bangladesh tax regulations.
Balances, Earnings & Withdrawals
KajKhuji maintains clear distinctions between user balances:
9.1 Employer Funds
- Available Employer Balance: Funds deposited or refunded that can be used to hire talent or purchase Gigs.
- Reserved / Committed Funds: Funds currently allocated to active projects or ongoing Gig orders.
- Refund / Credit Balance: Returned funds available for reuse or payout where eligible under platform refund policies.
9.2 Freelancer Funds
- Pending Earnings: Funds associated with recently completed orders undergoing platform clearance.
- Available Earnings: Cleared funds that can be used for platform services or requested for payout.
- Withdrawable Balance: Cleared net earnings eligible for immediate withdrawal to verified MFS or bank channels.
9.3 Withdrawal Terms
- Minimum Withdrawal Amount: As specified on the Platform withdrawal dashboard (subject to payout channel minimums).
- Processing Windows: Withdrawal requests are processed according to the processing time displayed on the KajKhuji withdrawal dashboard and may be subject to security reviews, verification checks, weekends, and banking schedules.
- Accuracy: Freelancers are strictly responsible for providing accurate wallet/account numbers. KajKhuji is not liable for transfers made to incorrect details submitted by the User.
Fees & Commissions
KajKhuji charges platform service fees, commissions, or processing charges to maintain marketplace operations, server infrastructure, and customer support.
All applicable fee percentages or processing amounts are displayed transparently before order checkout or proposal submission. KajKhuji reserves the right to update fee structures with reasonable advance notice on the Platform.
Dispute Resolution
We encourage Freelancers and Employers to resolve disagreements amicably through direct communication. If mutual agreement cannot be reached, either party may request platform dispute assistance.
11.1 Eligible Grounds
- Non-delivery or abandonment of work by the Freelancer.
- Delivered work severely deviating from the written project brief or agreed Gig deliverables.
- Unresponsive Employer refusing to review or approve delivered work within reasonable timeframes.
- Demands for additional work outside the originally agreed scope.
11.2 Evidence & Resolution
Both parties may submit relevant chat records, files, and briefs. KajKhuji may make a platform-level decision based on the available evidence. Such decisions are intended to resolve disputes within the KajKhuji platform and do not prevent either party from exercising any rights available under applicable law.

The following activities are strictly prohibited on KajKhuji:
- Circumventing Platform Fees: Soliciting, encouraging, or conducting payments or contracts off-platform to avoid platform fees.
- Fraud & Scams: Deceptive schemes, unauthorized payment usage, fake job postings, or identity falsification.

- Abuse & Harassment: Threatening, defamatory, hateful, or discriminatory language directed at any User or staff member.
- Malware & Cyber Threats: Distributing files containing viruses, keyloggers, malicious code, or phishing links.

- Unlawful Services: Academic paper cheating, hacking tools, illegal document fabrication, or services violating Bangladeshi law.

Intellectual Property Rights
13.1 Pre-Payment Ownership
Until full payment has been approved and released to the Freelancer, the Freelancer retains all ownership rights to custom deliverables created during the order.
13.2 Transfer Upon Successful Payment
Upon successful payment, the Client receives the ownership or usage rights expressly agreed for the final custom deliverables. Pre-existing materials, third-party assets, open-source components, reusable tools, and Freelancer-owned resources remain subject to their original ownership and licensing terms unless otherwise agreed in writing.
13.3 Freelancer Portfolio Rights
A Freelancer may showcase completed public-facing work in their portfolio unless the parties have agreed to confidentiality, an NDA, or the Client has otherwise restricted public disclosure.

You retain full ownership of the original text, images, portfolios, and media you upload to KajKhuji ("User Content").
You grant KajKhuji a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, display, format, and make available your User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, provide, promote, and improve the Platform. Private content will not be publicly displayed except as permitted by our Privacy Policy, for safety, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or platform operation.
Reviews & Ratings
Reviews must reflect genuine, honest feedback based on completed contracts. Users may not artificially manipulate ratings or demand positive reviews under threat of non-payment.
KajKhuji reserves the right to remove reviews that contain abusive language, private personal data, or violate review guidelines.
Messaging & Communication Standards
On-platform messaging is provided for legitimate project scoping, file sharing, and professional collaboration. Sending spam, threats, phishing attempts, or unauthorized promotional marketing is prohibited.
Platform communications may be monitored by automated tools and authorized support personnel for safety, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
